What is ‘Another Social Outlier’?
Rooted in the desire for culturally rich storytelling, Another Social Outlier emerges as a new player in fashion and more. ‘ANSO’—a streetwear line crafted for the true outlier—embodies sustainable, accessible style, paving the way for like-minded projects to follow.
Why the name ‘Another Social Outlier’ a.k.a ANSO?
——— because I often feel that way; as if I exist on the peripheral of everything around me. It has its’ perks and drawbacks. In this next period of my creative growth, I wanted something more tangible- an avenue to engage in my own way.
What makes someone an Outlier?
To me, an Outlier, or as some often refer to it as “The Underdog”, is a being of indifference toward the norm. I wouldn’t say Outliers are underdogs because they’re often ahead of the crowd contrary to perception. There are terms like Trail Blazer, Curator, or Image Architect (coined by Law Roach) that give power to a being in their own lane or world. To me, the Underdog often implies an uphill battle to fit in and that’s never been the case for me.
